Our Commitment to Cleanliness & Safety
As we welcome you back to our hotel, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for cleaning and disinfecting. The following guidelines represent best practices for the tourism industry, in accordance with The Ministry of health, CDC and OSHA guidelines, during the re-opening phase of tourism. It is anticipated that these guidelines and protocols will evolve based on the recommendations of public health authorities and must be done in compliance with the laws of Belize and advisories from the Ministry of Health. This protocol provides responsible measures to stop the spread of COVID-19, while continuing to offer a comforting and enjoyable experience for you, our guest.
Screening, Temperature Checks & Employee Training
Extensive employee protocols are put in place including screening questions, employee temperature checks and training programs on health and safety protocols. We ask guests to stay at home if they have COVID-19 related symptoms or live with someone who has recently tested positive. Medical personnel from the Ministry of Health will be able to assist should a guest develop symptoms while staying at our hotel.
Incident Response Protocols
We are heavily focused on reducing the chance for the infection to spread on our property. In the unfortunate event a guest or employee tests positive for the virus, we will activate protocols and leverage our trained staff to respond quickly so that exposed areas are thoroughly sanitized. Belize Ministry of Health has medical personnel nearby to respond quickly in the event of an incident.
