Our Commitment to Cleanliness & Safety

We are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for cleaning and disinfecting. The following guidelines represent best practices for the tourism industry, in accordance with The Ministry of health, CDC and OSHA guidelines.

Doctor Taking Notes

Screening, Temperature Checks & Employee Training

Extensive employee protocols are put in place including screening questions, employee temperature checks and training programs on health and safety protocols. We ask guests to stay at home if they have COVID-19 related symptoms or live with someone who has recently tested positive. Medical personnel from the Ministry of Health will be able to assist should a guest develop symptoms while staying at our hotel.

Mandatory Masks & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Masks are required for all guests in public places in Belize.  Employees will be required to wear a mask while working at our hotel. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs.

Sanitizing Spray Bottles

Frequent Cleaning of Public Spaces

Starting with our public spaces and high-traffic, high-touch areas, we are going above and beyond our normal protocols. We are cleaning surfaces with increased frequency and with cleaners & disinfectants that meet EPA guidelines.

Incident Response Protocols

We are heavily focused on reducing the chance for the infection to spread on our property. In the unfortunate event a guest or employee tests positive for the virus, we will activate protocols and leverage our trained staff to respond quickly so that exposed areas are thoroughly sanitized. Belize Ministry of Health has medical personnel nearby to respond quickly in the event of an incident.
